A big, BIG thank you to reader Nina for inviting me to the Lululemon Warehouse Sale pre-sale tonight!
(you must know how much I despise large crowds.  and that makes you awesome!)
I did some serious damage tonight, picking up comfy pants, running shorts, jackets, and a couple things for my BFF G and my husband (he loves the Formula pants!).
A couple tips for those of you planning on hitting the warehouse sale this weekend!
Parking will run you about $13.
Bring as little with you as possible.  They make you check your bag and coat, and you aren’t even allowed to bring a large wallet inside.
One thing I would bring with you - an old shopping bag or fold-up tote to carry your purchases home in - I was the idiot running across River Road (I couldn’t get back into the damn SkyBridge!) with an armload of workout gear.  They won’t let you bring it inside the hall, but you can check it with your coat.
Communal dressing room - good thing I TOTALLY wasn’t wearing a gross old thong with my pasty ass hanging out.  Oh wait, yep, I was.  It’s no biggie, just thought I’d give you a heads up!
If you’re only looking for workout tops with any kind of sleeve, there wasn’t much there (at least not in 4s and 6s).  It was a sleeveless bonanza though!
If you are in the market for a Scuba hoodie or running shorts, you have a million things to choose from.  So many Scubas!
I was very happy that the vast majority of the items were normal colors.  I was fully expecting a room full of reject teal and hot pink workout clothes.  Lots of blacks, greys and neutrals!
Overall, I would say items are about 40% off of the in-store prices - which is a pretty good deal considering I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sale rack in a Lulu store.
Hopefully you can all get out to the Stephens Convention Center this weekend!  There was a ton of great stuff, and it took a considerable amount of willpower to not buy everything I wanted.  Thanks again, Nina!
Now.  It’s been an incredibly stressful week, and I am exhausted from riding the roller coaster that is my emotions.  Time to put on those grey sweats pictured above, pour a glass of wine, and watch some Top Chef!
